Octogenarian music lover here. I seldom listen to heavy metal but love most kinds of music including mediaeval and renaissance music. I have found the Heavys equal or better than most of my other headphones and love the feeling of stage presence which these headphones provide. I’ve also used them as an alternative audio source. for my television watching..
I love my original Heavys so much that I needed to try these and Im glad I made the purchase. These actually do a great job at mimicking their larger brother by giving a wide stage sound. Crystal clear. Amazing bass response. These stay in place really well. And if you need more comfort their give you foam earpieces. Case os nice and small.

The best headphones that I've ever had the pleasure of listening too. Exceptionally fast (great for dance music), clear seperation (for orchestral music) and best of all I love the low presure of the bottom end notes, this means I can really turn them up and enjoy my music from my eclectic music collection which has heavy metal music, too boot.
Thanks for thinking of the optional extra padding, for those of us with smaller skulls. A great product overall, which has only gotten better with the firmware updates.

The quality is very similar to the headphones i ordered a while back and the memory foam tips feel much better than the plastic counterparts!
I was pretty happy with the full size headphones I got when THEY first dropped. My ONLY gripe would be my ears getting really hot after extended use. So I was excited to see what these would e like.

THESE ARE f***ing INCREDIBLE! The bass alone makes them a standout product but the clarity that accompanies it is an audiophile’s dream.
