While the Heavys H1H deliver crystal-clear sound for loud and heavy music, and, while a blessing on airplanes, also can be a bit cumbersome. Other earbuds may fit easily into a pocket, but they can't offer the comfort of active noise cancellation and the overall fit that's so essential for long journeys to get some peace and quiet.
The Heavys H1E Earbuds, however, follow in the footsteps of their larger counterparts. With their unique noise-canceling system and external microphones, ambient noise is filtered out so effectively that you're completely cut off from the outside world. This, of course, depends on the fit and how well they sit in the ear, and Heavys includes a set of five different ear tips to accommodate various ear shapes and ensure a secure fit.
It's a Feature!
In terms of features, everything is very basic. The earbuds' battery lasts for more than three hours of playtime, after which they need to be placed in the case for an hour. We didn't have to charge the case for over three weeks, which allows for countless music sessions. The most important commands can also be transmitted via the earbuds' touch sensor: play/pause, next track, volume up, and volume down. Unfortunately, the touch button solution is a common problem with many headphones, as input is often not registered; you press it unintentionally and can't undo it. Annoying, but a technological standard that we probably won't get rid of anytime soon.
Heavys have also recently released their own app, which offers everything necessary: It displays the battery level of the devices, can quickly and easily overwrite firmware updates, and includes an equalizer for those who want more control over their music.

Naturally, they're small and compact, yet offer everything their larger counterparts do – including faceplate swapping with artwork from your favorite bands.
