HEAVYS Beacon

USB-C wireless gaming audio adapter for supported HEAVYS headphones and earbuds.

Use this guide for setup, pairing, compatibility, controls, and troubleshooting.

Before You Start

Update Your HEAVYS Device

Before pairing, update your HEAVYS headphones or earbuds to the latest firmware in the HEAVYS app.

Apple Device Users

For first-time pairing, temporarily turn off Bluetooth on nearby Apple devices already paired with your HEAVYS device. Turn Bluetooth back on after Beacon connects.

Compatibility

HEAVYS Audio Devices

  • H1H: Connect using Classic Bluetooth. H1H does not support LE Audio or Low Latency Gaming through Beacon.

  • H1E: Connect using LE Audio. H1E supports Low Latency Gaming through Beacon.

Supported Gaming Devices

  • Windows PC

  • Mac

  • PlayStation 4 and 5

  • Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

  • Steam Deck

Xbox is not supported.

Set Up Beacon

  1. Plug Beacon into a supported gaming device. It turns on automatically.

  2. Choose the correct connection type: LE Audio for H1E or Classic Bluetooth for H1H.

  3. Put your HEAVYS device into pairing mode. Beacon should connect automatically.

  4. If pairing does not start, hold the Beacon button for 3 seconds and try again.

No audio? Select Beacon as the audio output on your gaming device.

H1H Setup

  1. Update H1H in the HEAVYS app.

  2. Plug Beacon into your gaming device.

  3. Press the Beacon button 3 times to switch from LE Audio to Classic Bluetooth.

  4. Make sure H1H is also set to Classic Bluetooth.

  5. Put H1H into pairing mode and wait for it to connect.

Important: H1H does not support LE Audio or Low Latency Gaming through Beacon.

H1E Setup

  1. Update H1E in the HEAVYS app.

  2. Plug Beacon into your gaming device. Beacon uses LE Audio by default.

  3. Set H1E to LE Audio in the app, or tap the left earbud 3 times.

  4. Put H1E into pairing mode and wait for it to connect.

Low Latency Gaming

While connected through LE Audio and playing audio, hold the Beacon button for 1 second.

The Beacon light turns steady purple while Low Latency Gaming is active. This feature is not available on H1H.

Controls & Lights Guide

Beacon Button

  • Press 3 times: Switch between LE Audio and Classic Bluetooth.

  • Hold 3 seconds: Start pairing.

  • Hold 1 second: Activate Low Latency Gaming while using LE Audio.

  • Hold 10 seconds: Factory reset Beacon.

Beacon Lights

  • Green: LE Audio.

  • Blue: Classic Bluetooth.

  • Steady purple: Low Latency Gaming is active.

  • Blinking white and green: Pairing in LE Audio.

  • Blinking white and blue: Pairing in Classic Bluetooth.

  • Steady connection light: Connected.

  • White: Factory reset indicator.

Automatic Reconnection

Beacon reconnects to the last paired HEAVYS device and remembers the last connection type after being unplugged.

Factory Reset

Hold the Beacon button for 10 seconds until the light turns white. Reset Beacon if pairing repeatedly fails or you want to clear a previous connection.

Troubleshooting

Beacon Is Not Pairing

  1. Update your HEAVYS device firmware.

  2. Make sure Beacon and your HEAVYS device use the same connection type.

  3. Put your HEAVYS device into pairing mode.

  4. Hold the Beacon button for 3 seconds and try again.

  5. If pairing still fails, factory reset Beacon.

Beacon Is Connected but There Is No Audio

Select Beacon as the audio output on your gaming device.

Your HEAVYS Device Connects to an Apple Device Instead

Temporarily turn off Bluetooth on nearby Apple devices, pair Beacon first, then turn Bluetooth back on.

Low Latency Gaming Is Not Working

  • Confirm the HEAVYS device supports LE Audio.

  • Make sure Beacon is connected through LE Audio.

  • Start playing audio, then hold the Beacon button for 1 second.

Beacon Was Paired With Another Device

Factory reset Beacon, then pair the new HEAVYS device.

Which connection type should I use?

Use Classic Bluetooth for H1H and LE Audio for H1E.

What connection type does Beacon use by default?

Beacon uses LE Audio by default.

Does Beacon reconnect automatically?

Yes. It reconnects to the last paired HEAVYS device.

Can H1H use Low Latency Gaming?

No. Low Latency Gaming requires LE Audio.

How do I reset Beacon?
